Mornings can be a struggle (especially being newly pregnant myself), but not on this one! Nothing wakes you up more than feeling the breeze on your face at 6am while watching the sun rise over the ocean horizon. This maternity session was at Driftwood beach on Jekyll Island, Georgia. If you follow my blog or Facebook, you will know I am at this location often for a session. However, this was the first time I was there for an actual early morning sunrise session and, I must say, it was not a disappoint!! However, the most beautiful part had nothing to do with the view and everything to do with the stunning mother-to-be standing next to me, Ally Wergin.

God has blessed women with the miracle of carrying life. Having the opportunity to capture a woman at her most beautiful moment is a privilege I never take for granted. Ally is no exception to that rule! (Lets face it, she is every woman’s #pregnancygoals) It is always exciting taking pictures for a friend, but even more when its celebrating a new life. Ally is truly a gorgeous person on the inside and out who is clearly cherished by her husband, Jake. As you can see in the photos!

I first met Ally when I joined the team at Christ’s Church Camden. Her love for children and compassionate heart is inspiring to be around. I have no doubt their daughter, Grace, is going to be an amazing mix of both parents wrapped up in a happy bundle of joy. Ally’s due date is at the end of July!
