This is not the first time Jake & Ally have a feature blog post for their family! In June, I had the privilege of taking Ally’s maternity photos at Driftwood beach for a sunrise session. It is always an honor for someone to choose me as their photographer and believe in my skills to get the pictures exactly what they want. When the family then decides to return for another session, I get so excited (and humbled by their trust in me)!! It is another chance to continue to get to know them even better!

Professional Family photos are so important to take at your family’s milestones!

Several months later, I could not wait to start snapping the shutter of the Wergin’s adorable new baby girl! (I mean HOLY BLUE EYES!!!) Since the day Grace was born, I have followed and admired the many post Ally has shared. It is so difficult to be in those photos as a parent without them looking like selfies! Like any great milestone, Jake & Ally wanted to make sure they had precious family photos TOGETHER! When she asked me to take their photos again, I was counting down the days!! This was the first session for the new sisters, Chloe & Grace, to take pictures together and capture their bond as it is starting to grow from the beginning. (These pictures are so dear to me because I myself will have 2 daughters – Addi due in December – and I can only hope they grow close with each other!) Family photos are so important to take throughout your family’s journey. iPhones are perfect for every day moments but not milestones. Cell phone cameras can not give you the quality that moment deserves, nor the quality you need to display those prints proudly on the walls of your home!

This is a mixture of their family lifestyle session on our property in Kingsland Georgia and the upcoming Fall Truck session set in November (Are they not wonderful models?!). I just want to point out a couple things! First, Is anyone else jealous of how remarkable Ally looks only a few months after having her 2nd baby?! (Yup, totally jealous #momgoals) Second, Chloe & Grace are both darling girls to be around with their own unique personalities (The camera loves them)!
