Give me a minute to let that sink in… Yea, I am not sure if it ever will because I still feel like a kid myself some days.  She was born on July 2 with little blue eyes (She gets it from her momma!) and 10 perfect fingers & toes. Since Tori has arrived, time has flown by and now she is 8 months old crawling around.

Why did I start Newborn Lifestyle Sessions?

Everyday I get the chance to capture wonderful moments for families, so why not add Newborn Lifestyle portraits to the mix. We forget to slow down after having a new baby to admire how amazing that child is. We get caught up in making decisions – formula or breastfeeding, what diaper brand to use, what clothes do we need – and forget to commit their little face to memory. However, the thing about memory is that fades over time.

When I started to learn photography, I was just a woman with a camera. Now in many ways, I am a mom with a camera that LOVES spending time with her pooh bear. I never considered Newborn lifestyle photography until I experienced first hand how important these photos can be.

Maybe you already know this but Life gets busy when you become a parent. Close your eyes for a second, 8 months flash by, and you realize how much your little rascal has grown. At night I will lay in bed and look back at these pictures to see the small differences in her face that I didn’t see happening in the day to day life.
