After months of planning, the Llama/ Pumpkin Patch Mini session event at Incacheetoo Plantation and Petting Zoo was exactly what I hoped for (Not without earning a few grey hairs in the process)! The Idea for this session was inspired by great family in St Simons Island during their daughter’s cake smash session back in July. This was the first time I did a mini session event with animals! The morning turned out better than I hoped for and in the process, I got to meet some friendly families in our community. Take a closer look at the Llama Mini Sessions in Waverly Georgia.

Like all great events, the week leading up to this was filled with doubtful moments of how we were going to pull this off to be a spectacular time. Despite all the planning, the whole week was forecasted for rain & the pumpkin patch was missing it’s pumpkins! With a lot of assistance with the Adams family, owner of the venue, we had a back up plan prepared. (That never had to be executed. The point is, WE WERE READY!)

On Friday evening, we decided to take the risk and keep the event outside due to the low chance of rain. While bringing in some pumpkins, Incacheetoo Plantation let us come decorate the settings the night before. Mind you, the forecast said no rain Friday night and yet, it was still raining! At this point, you can imagine my worry – Did I make the wrong call to keep it outdoors? Will it rain tomorrow? Will all the families be miserable? – With ALOT of prayers and no sleep that night, Saturday morning came and it was PERFECT! No rain, no heat, and the pumpkins were ready to go! Yay, prayers answered!

The real star of this event was the calm and loving Llama, Georgia! This was her first time strutting her stuff in front of a camera for 3 solid hours and she did not disappoint.
