Same Family Photographer As Always

As you know, I announced this past week that The Living Lenz now has a studio in Royal District, Downtown Kingsland. First, let me say THANK YOU! I was blown away by how many of you responded and (what felt like) YOU taking this step with me. This is a HUGE MILESTONE. I have captured numerous moments for other families. I just love that I am pulling back the curtain and having you see the magic behind the pictures! After all, The Living Lenz is not about me. It is named after ALL OF YOU! My TLL families who allow me to be apart of your adventures together & I get the privilege to capture them. Just look at this Hayes family session. I was honored to be their Family photographer in Downtown Kingsland.

To avoid confusion, I am still the same style photographer you have supported from the beginning! I still shoot on location, do weddings, & offer natural light outdoors mini session events! That is NOT GOING AWAY! I am now throwing in the mix of lifestyle studio work. This is for the families that want an “At-home” session but do not want to actually clean their house haha. The Studio is for the moms who do not want to fight the bugs during a Maternity session or Newborn session. The entrepreneurs who need branding photos completed for their business. How about those High school Seniors that are looking for something more unique or the professionals that need those headshots? The studio is an option for you! I’ve got you covered (or I will once the studio is ready haha).

Photographer Priorities

Like any new adventure, it is trial and error. So please stick with me & be patient! We can build something amazing together here, but I want to open that curtain a little wider for a second. I want you to know who the person is behind the scenes. There are 2 little girls (Tori who is about to be 3 & Addi who is about to 2 years old) and a supportive husband, Joel; who depend on me to make them a priority. Along with our friends and families. We are blessed to be a apart of this community and I want to continue to honor them by making decisions that lift them up. This is how I want to show that I love them.

When the studio space became available, I struggled for a week deciding if this was the right move that follows the shift I was trying to make in my life. I feared the “pull” of needing to be at the studio endlessly which takes away family time. After talking to my inner circle of trusted advisors (Ok I am not that fancy! Just close friends that include many of you from my TLL family) & praying to God, I found peace in leasing a studio space! The Studio will not be opened everyday and will still require booking session in advance. However, if you do not see a “IN SESSION” sign on the door on Tuesdays & Thursdays, please come visit me inside. Have not quite figured out all the times yet, but I will give you an update!
