Congratulations to Allen & Aubrey! May you life together be as exciting as your love story. As their Clay Theater Wedding Photographer, I must say I have never heard a Meet – cute quiet like theirs!

While on a mission trip to Guatemala with her church, Aubrey met Allen who was from there. Allen was assigned to help missionaries find their way around and help achieve their goal. Aubrey and Allen were actually not “meant” to meet. However, her best friend got hurt & she went with her to get some medical assistance. Which is when Allen jumps into the story. He was actually assigned to another group and was able to help these girls instead. Needless to say, Aubrey & Allen were dating long distance for a couple years before Allen proposed. In fact, Allen was not able to enter the country until a couple weeks before their wedding! (talk about a close call!)

Let me start by saying, every of my couples are amazing! Yet, I truly believe this couple at The Clay Theater Wedding will stick with me. During the wedding, they played this game where they sit down with their backs to each other & had to answer questions. They got every question correct without hesitation! (I do not think even my husband and I could do that haha) That is not the only sign though.

As their Clay Theater Wedding Photographer, I was privy to private moments that others did not get to see. My favorite moment was the very end before the send off, they requested everyone to step out of the room, turn off the lights expect for 1 spot light & shared an intimate slow dance for themselves. It was timeless! While my head was behind the camera, I truly felt as if I stepped into an old fashion movie where Love conquers all. I pray that Aubrey and Allen will look back at these pictures one day and remember the feeling of that moment. I know I sure will!
