A life long dream came true for these parents! They got to have a flour fight without cleaning up the mess afterwards hahaha. These Christmas minis in Kingsland Georgia turned out to be one of the best experiences I could have provided these kids!

It was a dream come true for them… not for me though (HAHA the cleaning had to fall to someone!) It was well worth the price of playing for 3 hours, scrubbing a layer of flour away , and capture phenomenal memories for my TLL Families!

Couple things you need to know, I have an issue with fake backdrops. It’s not that I hate them for other photographers!! I just believe that kids will enjoy the photos more if they are in the actual scene versus a backdrop behind them that makes it look like the scene. For example, these Christmas minis in Kingsland Georgia were actually in my own personal kitchen! Instead of buying a backdrop to use in my studio.

These means 2 things for me as a photographer. First, it becomes WAY more expensive to create the scene in real life vs just buying a back drop. Second, organization the day of the event is extremely important! Without being organized, the timeline may be thrown off and families are then delayed for their session. All of that is a no go! These Christmas minis in Kingsland Georgia required 10 minutes of shooting and 5 minutes of resetting the scene before the next family. I had an assistant on hand for greeting and cleaning with me.

When these minis were first planned, I was a little skeptic on how this experience would go. (Haha my hubby grumbled a little bit because he could not get to his coffee that morning) Now looking back, I am in love with Christmas minis in the kitchen. Will I do them again?
