When does your Christmas decoration go up in your house? In the Kennedy house, November 1st is go time for pulling out those magical twinkly lights. What you don’t see, is me thinking about holiday mini session décor all year long. These VW Christmas Minis in Kingsland Georgia have been in the works since February!! That means it is Christmas in my head ALL YEAR LONG! (Confession: it’s why I am smiling all the time)

Christmas Mini Photography

Earlier this year, I was inspired when I came across an Instagram post on Cowford co page. I saw this very unique VW bus and knew that it was the perfect setting for my Christmas minis this year. Little did I know I would meet some incredible ladies by renting this vehicle. (Hopefully further collaborations in the future to come!) Joanna, the owner of Cowford Co Studio, and her Colleague, Amber, are two boss babes wanting to build a safe community for photographers to learn, grow, and excel with each other. The most incredible part that made me connect instantly is when they call it their ministry. That hit home!

For the past year, I have connecting and assisting other photographers to develop their craft by sharing by personal experience & knowledge. I started at Etsy shop – Photo Resources by TLL – that has How to guides, prompt cards, templates, marketing tools & more. Keep in mind, this endeavor was started on a drive that I did not know where it was coming from. Never expected to create bonds with incredible individuals around the world who have a passion to grow as a photographer like I do. I very much believe it was God pushing me towards this door to be a positive influence for others. Joanna & Amber are the first ladies I have met in person that has a similar passion for this type of ministry.

Mini session events, such as this VW Christmas Minis in Kingsland Georgia, has helped me to connect to the Camden County community around me. Photography, in general, is a way to put myself out there, meet new people (some of which have become my close friends), create ties, and grow my creativity. It is a privilege and a gift I know God blessed me with. That is exactly what I want other photographers to find & it excites me to know there are other people out there chasing after this mission.
